General

Do you have a resort fee?

Yes. A nightly resort fee ($20/night for stays through Dec. 31, 2020, $30/night beginning Jan. 1, 2021) covers several services and amenities, including: 

  • Complimentary WiFi 
  • Covered self-parking garage
  • Shuttle service is available to/from downtown Aspen and to/from the Aspen Airport (shuttle service runs every ½ hour and on-demand) 
  • 24-hour front desk assistance
  • Overnight on-mountain ski / snowboard storage and intermountain transfers
  • Two (2) on-site art galleries and art installations, with a self-guided walking and art tour available, and a guided tour upon request 
  • State-of-the-art Fitness Center 
  • Outdoor heated lap pool & hot tub
  • Half Court Basketball Gymnasium
  • Complimentary snowshoes, crampons, & cruiser bikes 
  • Tennis Center (seasonally available, spring-fall) featuring 5 outdoor courts, with racquets and balls available.

We also offer the following services for additional fees:

When are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in begins at 4pm. If you arrive prior to 4pm, you may check your luggage with Guest Services and explore the grounds, have a drink, or take a shuttle into town until your room becomes available. Check-out time is at 11am.

Do you allow pets?

Yes. We are a pet-friendly resort and charge a $25 per night fee per pet. Please view our pet policy and pet agreement.  Dining areas are limited to licensed service animals only.  We regret we can not accommodate emotional support animals in our dining areas.

I need to print a document. Where do I go?

Please visit the Front Desk at the Walter Isaacson Center and we will be glad to help you print.

I would like to send champagne or chocolate to a guest suite. How do I do this?

Our Food & Beverage department would be glad to arrange any amenity for you. Please dial 970-544-7824 to speak with a manager, 48-hours in advance of your delivery.

How can I purchase a gift card?

Please contact the Front Desk at 970-925-4240 to arrange for a gift card, valid towards Plato’s Restaurant, any of our dining facilities, or a stay on property.

Do you offer ski storage?

We proudly partner with Four Mountain Sports to offer ski valet service for our guests at all four mountains of Aspen Snowmass. This service includes overnight on-mountain ski and snowboard storage, as well as overnight intermountain equipment transfers.

Do you allow smoking?

We are a non-smoking property.

Do you have air conditioning in your guest suites?

We currently offer electric fans in each suite, in lieu of air conditioning. Most guests enjoy the benefits of fresh, mountain air by opening their floor-to-ceiling windows or patio door.

COVID-19 Safety Policies

What measures are in place to keep guests safe during Covid-19?

Aspen Meadows Resort is uniquely well positioned for guest safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. Guests will immediately experience a palpable sense of relief and peace of mind upon arrival at our property, which is naturally physically distanced just 1.5 miles from the bustling heart of downtown Aspen. Our self-contained and serene grounds comprise 40+ acres of outdoor walking trails, sculpture gardens, accommodations and amenities.

Nearly all guest suites are equipped with their own entrance that is accessible from the outside, without attachment to heavily-tracked corridors or crowded elevators. Our suites are thoroughly cleaned in advance of each arrival, using EPA-approved disinfectant products by Ecolab, a global leader in hygiene and infection protection services. Housekeeping and sanitization of your guest suite during your stay is available upon request, or by hanging your housekeeping hanger on your door handle. Housekeeping, engineering, and other team members may not enter occupied rooms at any time.

Reservations are required for use of our dining facilities, fitness center, lap pool, hot tub, and for shuttle service, to ensure we may properly sanitize all spaces before and after use. Reservations also allow guests to benefit from contact tracing and to be informed, in the event that an asymptomatic guest has unknowingly exposed them to the virus. All public areas, including our meeting spaces and event venues, are cleaned meticulously throughout each day by staff members that abide by the strictest of health measures. Our team members wear masks, as well as gloves where appropriate.

Aspen Meadows Resort abides by all safety regulations set forth by the State of Colorado and Pitkin County, which are subject to change. At the current time, all individuals including staff and guests must maintain social distance requirements, and those above age 2 must wear masks indoors, and in designated outdoor public spaces in the town of Aspen. 

Do you have any mandatory policies for guests during Covid-19?

Prior to your arrival: 

We insist that anyone that is presently suffering from, or has suffered in the previous 14 days from any symptoms of COVID-19, including fever, cough or shortness of breath, loss of smell or taste, or has been exposed to anyone confirmed to have COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to arrival at the hotel, must stay home and not travel to Aspen. Please contact our reservations team to cancel or move your reservation. We will work with any party inside their cancellation window to ensure that your safety, and the wellbeing of our other guests remains first priority. 

During your stay at Aspen Meadows:

  • If  you or any member of your traveling group begin to display symptoms of COVID-19, you agree to immediately seek medical attention and inform hotel management.
  • All guests agree to follow the direction of hotel management and team members when given health and safety instructions. 
  • We require face masks in all indoor public areas and outside, within 6 feet of others, including at restaurants, in the fitness center, and all other public areas. 
  • Please refrain from shaking hands or engaging in any unnecessary physical contact with other guests or team members.
  • Groups should not congregate in any public areas of the hotel, and will be asked to disperse if necessary.
  • Only registered guests are allowed in guest suites.
  • Elevators are limited to occupancy by 2 people or 1 traveling group at a time
  • Please wash hands for 20 seconds with soap and warm water on a regular basis, and use hand sanitizer when soap and water is unavailable.

Transportation & Parking

How do I get to the hotel?

Getting Here is easy by plane or by car.

Do you have on-site parking? Is there an additional fee?

We offer on-site self parking in a covered garage, located just below the Tennis Center. For vehicles taller than 8 feet, we offer outdoor parking between the tennis courts. There is no additional fee for parking. 

Do you offer shuttle service?

Shuttle service is available to/from downtown Aspen and to/from the Aspen Airport. Shuttle service runs every ½ hour from the hotel during the winter season,  and on-demand at other seasons. Reservations and masks are required for shuttle service, due to Covid-19 safety measures. Space will be limited to 40% capacity. Reservations enable us to perform contact tracing to protect the safety of our guests.

Dining

What should I know before dining at the Aspen Meadows?

Per Pitkin County's restrictions, our dining capacity is currently 25%. We will not be taking reservations for parties larger than 6 people. All guests dining with us will need to leave a name and phone number for contact tracing. We will be doing a temperature screen on all guests dining with us. Guests will be required to completely wear a mask at all times, no exceptions.

Do you offer s'mores during the winter?

We will begin offering s'mores for hotel guests starting Friday, November 27th from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Reservations can be made in 20 minute increments to allow for proper social distancing. Please contact the restaurant at 970-544-7824 to make a reservation.

Can I bring my service dog with me into the dining areas?

Dining areas are limited to licensed service animals only.  We regret we can not accommodate emotional support animals in our dining areas.

Fitness / Pool / Tennis

What are the hours of operation for the fitness center?

Guests may work out at the Fitness Center between the hours of 8:00am - 8:00pm, by one-hour reservations only, to ensure proper cleaning between guests. Please call 970-544-7860 to make a reservation.

What kind of equipment can I use in the Fitness Center?

Our Fitness Center was remodeled in July 2020. Please enjoy our wide variety of state-of-the-art equipment, including Life Fitness branded machines (leg press, ellipticals, leg curl, chest press, treadmills, rower, stationary bikes), free weights and a bench press, and Peloton equipment. We require guests to wear a mask inside, stay 6 feet apart from others, and wipe down the equipment before and after use.

Do you have a pool and/or hot tub? Do I need reservations?

Please enjoy swimming in our 25-meter lap pool, or our hot tub, by reservation only. This is to ensure the safety of all guests. Pool lane reservations are for 30 minutes per person, at a maximum of 4 people at a time. We currently require social distancing at both our pool and hot tub, and ask that you please respect the stanchions set in place.

Where can I rent bikes and snowshoes?

We offer bikes during the summer season and snowshoes during the winter season on a complimentary basis at the Resnick-Malek Health Club. Please enjoy them for 4 hours at a time.

We also participate in WE-Cycle, a public bike share program, on a seasonal basis.  Enjoy unlimited 30-minute rides or less in Aspen, Basalt and Snowmass Village, by checking out a bike from one of our three stations on property. You can drop them off at any of the 46 stations around town.

Do you offer massage services?

In-suite services are available upon request.

Do you have tennis courts?

Our tennis center offers  five outdoor tennis courts that are open seasonally, featuring:

  • Four (4) cushioned hard courts 
  • One (1) Har-Tru clay court

Do you offer private tennis lessons?

Private lessons with our tennis pros can be scheduled in advance for kids and adults. Clinics are available for small family or friend groups as well. We recommend bringing your own racquets and balls, due to COVID-19. We also offer equipment upon request. Please call 970-544-7111.

Reservations

What is your deposit and cancellation policy?

For stays from Nov 23, 2020 through April 18, 2021:

  • A deposit equal to the full stay is due 14 days before arrival.
  • Cancellation within 14 days of arrival will be non-refundable for the entire stay.

I booked my reservation on a website other than the hotel website (Expedia, Booking.com, etc.) and I need to change my reservation. What should I do?

Please contact the agency with whom you booked.

Do you have connecting rooms?

Our one-bedroom suites in buildings 100, 200, and 400 feature connecting rooms.

How can I reserve an ADA room?

We are pleased to help you book our ADA-friendly one-bedroom suites with a king-sized bed. Please call reservations at 970-544-7024 or book online.

What benefits do you offer for families with young children?

Kids under the age of 12 may stay free.  S’mores are available in the winter from 3-7 pm, on select days.

How do I book a meeting at your property?

Aspen Meadows Resort was designed especially for your meeting needs. Your group will be delighted to meet in our beautiful spaces, surrounded by nature and abundant art, and served with the utmost attention to detail. 

Please let us know about your particular meeting needs and we will promptly follow up with you directly to discuss the ideal meeting space,  banquet menus and A/V options to meet your specific agenda and needs.  We can also arrange off-site activities and adventures for your group, including skiing and snowboarding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, dog sledding and more. I want to book an Aspen Wedding with you! Where do I start the process?

Congratulations! We’d love to host your special day. Please contact our Catering & Conference Services department at catering@aspenmeadows.com or request information and we will respond promptly.

Do you offer outdoor weddings?

Do we ever! Our outdoor wedding spaces are some of the most extraordinary in Aspen. In addition to outdoor ceremony sites, we offer unique outdoor venues for cocktail hours, receptions, and more. Our indoor venues are equally as exquisite, featuring vaulted ceilings and spectacular mountain views.

What do I need to know about weddings during the Covid-19 pandemic?

Aspen Meadows Resort is currently hosting weddings and other events during the COVID-19 pandemic. We carefully abide by safety guidelines dictated by the State of Colorado and Pitkin County, Colorado. 

At the present time, we can serve up to 100 guests indoors, and up to 175 guests outdoors, in a socially-distanced capacity. These levels may vary and are subject to change.  Our staff will walk you through all safety measures required for your guests and our staff.
