John Denver Sanctuary

The John Denver Sanctuary is nestled in the heart of Aspen, next to the Rio Grande Park, adjacent to Theatre Aspen's summer performances. Its location, near the Roaring Fork River, makes this an ideal spot for quiet meditation or a family picnic. The Song Garden features many of the iconic singer's lyrics etched into native river boulders placed in a perfect circle to represent the circle of life as a score of music.

Saturday Market

From mid-June to early October, spend your Saturday mornings at the Aspen Farmer's Market. Since 1998 it has been a local's tradition to stroll through the market buying Colorado-grown produce and Colorado-produced artisan products.

Winter X Games

X Games welcomes back fans to Buttermilk in Aspen, Colorado for the 21st consecutive year January 21-23! Nearly 100 of the world's top winter athletes will take center stage and will compete in the biggest snow sport event of the year.

12 Days of Aspen

To celebrate the holiday season, the Aspen Chamber Resort Association hosts the 12 Days of Aspen. Come join ACRA - and the entire Aspen community - to celebrate the joys of the season.

Winterskol

Aspen’s annual “toast to winter,” dates to a quiet January in 1951 when locals decided to celebrate Aspen’s unique alpine lifestyle with an eclectic weekend of festivities. The four-day celebration features on-mountain activities, snow sculptures, a torchlight descent down Aspen Mountain, fireworks and more.

Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series

The Hi-Fi Concert Series returns for the 2021-2022 season. After a year-long hiatus, free concerts will rock Aspen Snowmass with both midweek and weekend shows. From Snowmass Base Village to Gondola Plaza and downtown Aspen, big-name musical artists will perform shows from early March through mid-April. Enjoy the warm days filled with spring turns and nights brimming with live tunes and good times.

Après Ski Cocktail Classic

A slope-side celebration of the Après Ski Cocktail Experience in Aspen, Colorado featuring the Après Tasting Experience, artisanal craft cocktails, seminars by award-winning mixologists and brand ambassadors, snow parties, pop-up bars, demonstrations, fireside chats, special on-mountain events and The Great Après Ski Pub Crawl.

Winter Words

The 25th Winter Words series presents six events featuring an extraordinary lineup of literary talent. Between new fiction from two Pulitzer Prize winners, to an unforgettable tour of American monuments and landmarks with connections to slavery, a deep dive into modern-day ski-town culture, a crime novel based on real missing person cases and a trio of provocative memoirs, this season promises to provide readers with insight, inspiration and an expanded reading list.
