Day 1: Morning

Delight in La Colombe coffee, lattes and cold brew paired with a delightful blend of creative pastries and savory breakfast items crafted by our Executive Pastry Chef at Meadows Café. After breakfast, get active in the fresh mountain air. With miles of bike paths and hiking trails, Aspen, Colorado is truly a playground for lovers of the great outdoors. From the Meadows Trail to the Rio Grande Trail, we have several hiking, walking or biking trail options across our 40-acres for you to explore together.

During ski season, shuttle to one of four world-class mountains within minutes for a ski or snowboarding excursion. Whether you’re a seasoned skier or a first-time visitor, Buttermilk, Aspen Highlands, Aspen Mountain and Aspen Snowmass deliver unparalleled ski and snowboarding experiences, from sweeping views at the summit to perfectly groomed runs.

Day 1: Afternoon

After a day well spent on the mountain or hiking trails, retreat to West End Social’s picturesque patio with 270-degree mountain vista views. Sip on craft cocktails or local brews and indulge in shared plates like our favorites, including Charcuterie & Fromage, Pork Belly Tacos, and She Crab Soup. Our daily Après, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, is the perfect opportunity to experience house martinis, the bartender's daily spritz, or indulge in our Meadows Burger & Beer special.

Day 1: Evening

Our complimentary shuttles seamlessly connect you to the best of downtown Aspen. Discover boutiques, designer shops, and award-winning restaurants just minutes from the resort. Whether you choose Mediterranean-inspired cuisine at The Wild Fig or a cozy and romantic meal at the French Alpine Bistro - La Crêperie du Village, you’ll have plenty of flavorful dishes to choose from as you wind down your night out in the heart of Aspen.

Day 2: Morning

Order breakfast to your spacious suite for a tranquil morning on the outdoor patio overlooking the mountains. Many of our guests see friendly wildlife faces grazing the open fields while taking in the sounds of nature. After enjoying your morning coffees, take a soak in our outdoor hot tub to continue the relaxation and soothe tired muscles from the previous day of exploration.

Day 2: Afternoon

Experience the magic of Art at the Meadows as you explore our collection. Herbert Bayer’s influence across our campus creates a seamless blend of Aspen’s natural beauty and unique art. Our self-guided Walking Art Tour takes you through 31 locations, including installations, buildings, museums, and sculptures. Reflect on the harmonious relationship between nature, mind, and body within this all-encompassing Bauhaus environment.

After your stroll, continue your artful immersion with a visit to The Resnick Center for Herbert Bayer Studies, also located on the Aspen Meadows campus, for a fuller understanding of Bayer, one of the leading figures to translate the Bauhaus movement into an American context. The next exhibition, "Double Take: Recurrent Dialogue in the Art of Herbert Bayer" opens June 12.

Day 2: Evening

Wind down your day with a romantic evening at West End Social, where warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere set the stage for reconnecting over exceptional food and drink. In a simplistic, approachable style, our chefs highlight local Colorado products in every thoughtfully crafted dish. Share a selection of seasonal signature entrees to decadent desserts worth lingering over and choose from craft cocktails or select a bottle from our wine cellar as you watch the sunset through the dining room’s tall windows. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or enjoying time away together, every detail invites you to slow down and savor the moment.
