Aspen Music Festival Lodging
The Aspen Music Festival & School will be returning to its Colorado home for the 63rd season. In pursuit of uniting music, education, art and natural beauty in an inspiring mélange, this internationally recognized 8-week festival plays host to big dreamers, big stars and big music.
Over 60 years ago, sparked by the vision of the 1949 Goethe Bicentennial Convocation, Elizabeth and Walter Paepcke of Chicago began spreading their love of music and its culture which has since opened its doors to noteworthy masters. The AMFS is a continued leader in bringing the world's most talented chamber, orchestral, opera and contemporary music masters and students to one incredible locale, Aspen, Colorado. The Benedict Music Tent is a harmonious fantasy and most definitely a locals favorite. Tickets can be purchased for inside the tent, or grab a picnic and sit on the lawn outside the music tent's doors- we're pretty sure there is no sweeter way to end a summer's day.
From the opening Philip Glass's Icarus at the Edge of Time to the monumental finale of the Aspen Festival Orchestra the season offers one stunning performance after the other.
